# Online Therapy in Santa Monica 

You have probably tried a few things. Breathwork, a meditation app, an ice bath, a coach, a protocol somebody swore by. Some of it may even have helped for a while.

I am licensed in California and see clients by video, so anyone physically located in Santa Monica can work with me.

## When You Have Already Optimized Everything 

Wellness culture is very good at regulation and much less interested in meaning. You can get quite skilled at calming your nervous system and still be avoiding the conversation your life is actually asking you to have.

People often arrive here saying some version of: I know all the tools, I use the tools, and the same thing keeps happening.

That is usually a sign that the problem is not a technique problem.

## Depth Instead of Another Practice 

This work goes slower and deeper. We look at patterns that formed long before you had language for them, and at the relationships that keep reproducing them.

That means talking about the marriage, the parent, the loss you moved past efficiently, the thing you have described lightly for years. Not to dwell in it, but because unexamined material keeps running the show regardless of how well you breathe.

It is often less comfortable than a protocol and considerably more durable.

## How I Work 

My focus is grief and loss, narcissistic abuse and relationship trauma, separation and divorce, and pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting challenges.

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy inside a warm, direct, relational style. I will tell you what I notice, including when what you are describing does not match how you are describing it.

Everything is online. The first consultation call is free.
