# Online Therapy in San Diego 

San Diego is full of people who came from somewhere else: for a posting, for a lab, for a company, for a partner's job. Arriving is the easy part.

I am licensed in California and work by video, so anyone physically located in San Diego can meet with me, including people whose schedule changes month to month.

## Far From the People Who Raised You 

When something serious happens back home, distance turns into its own problem. A parent gets sick and you are on a plane, or worse, you are not. A funeral happens in a place you no longer live.

Grief handled from three states away tends to stay unfinished. You return to work in a city where nobody knew the person, and there is no one to say their name to.

That is often what people bring here first, sometimes months after everyone else has stopped asking.

## Therapy That Survives a Move 

Military and industry families move. Deployment cycles, contract ends, a spouse's relocation. One of the practical advantages of online work is that as long as you are physically located in California, the therapy does not restart with a new intake and a new stranger.

If your life moves you out of state, I will say so plainly and help you find someone licensed where you land. I would rather be straight with you about that from the beginning.

## What the Work Covers 

My specialties are grief and loss, recovery from narcissistic abuse and relationship trauma, relationship endings and divorce, and pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting challenges.

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and a relational, trauma-informed lens, which fits people managing long stretches of uncertainty they did not choose.

The first consultation call is free and there is no pressure attached to it.
