# Online Therapy in Los Angeles 

In Los Angeles, a fifty-minute appointment can take three hours out of your day. When work is already unpredictable, that math stops working quickly.

I am licensed in California and see clients by video, so if you are physically located in Los Angeles, the session takes fifty minutes and nothing more.

## When Your Work Will Not Cooperate With Your Identity 

Freelance, contract, project-based, between things. You may be exceptionally good at what you do and still spend most of the year uncertain whether it will continue.

That produces a particular kind of anxiety: not a crisis, just a low current running under everything, plus the pressure to sound optimistic about it at dinner. And when a project ends, the loss is real even though nobody treats it as one.

We look at what your work has been carrying for you emotionally, and what else could hold some of that weight.

## Comparison in a City Built on It 

Someone you started out with is further along. Someone younger is doing the thing you wanted. It is not envy exactly, more a constant low-grade audit of your own life against everyone else's public version of theirs.

That audit is exhausting, and it is very hard to turn off by deciding to. We work on it the way we work on any well-practiced habit of mind: by changing your relationship to it, not by trying to argue it away.

## How I Work and What I Focus On 

Grief and loss, narcissistic abuse and relationship trauma, separation and divorce, and pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting challenges.

I am direct and unhurried. Sessions are a real conversation, not a script, and we go where the actual difficulty is rather than where it is tidiest to start.

Everything happens online, from wherever in LA you can close a door.
